More About Tip of the Spear Training Group

What does Tip of the Spear mean?

Military tacticians and historians often make use of the term 'tip of the spear.' It refers to a combat force that is used to puncture the enemy's initial lines of defense, to be quickly followed by concentrated forces which destroy any remaining threat.

Whom better to teach you about defensive shooting than those that have been engaged in combat on foreign soil. All of our instructors are Combat Veterans, some have been wounded in combat, while others have served in a capacity of combat operations.

Vast wealth of knowledge

Not one type of military branch is better than any other, (ahem... Marines), so we employ a wide array of instructors from various groups within different branches. From Marine infantry, to Navy Security Forces to Army infantry, our knowledge of combative shooting will make any novice shooter into an operator.

Train to fight, fight to survive.

It isn't if you get into a shooting, it is when. So, why not be prepared for the fight? When you are involved in a shooting you automatically revert to your lowest form of training. If that is shooting in a controlled indoor range environment, at a paper target, that is 3 yards away from you, every 6 months, then you might as well surrender now. Get out to one of our courses and I guarantee you will know at the end of the course whether you are ready for a fight or not.
