CUSTOMER SERVICE: Unfortunately, buying ammunition and firearms is not the same as buying other goods and services from your local retailer or service professional. Different rules apply for purchases and returns and are not meant to cause difficulty and/or any inconvenience. It's just the way it is and standard practice in the industry. This is the reason we disclose these POLICIES AND PROCEDURES upfront, so you know exactly what to expect. Unlike most of the customer service being offered today, we firmly believe in friendly, professional, and respectful customer service that leads to trust and continued business! We will always answer your phone call or reply to your email...promptly! The adage "the customer is always right" holds true, but please don't abuse it. If you're wrong, you're wrong. If we're wrong, we'll own it and make it right! PERIOD! We strive to make every transaction conducted with us pleasant and enjoyable!

PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ OUR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES:


FFL PROCESS: Please have the seller (FFL Dealer or private party) of the firearm you purchased, contact us for our FFL information. We will need the type of firearm (manufacturer and model), caliber, serial number, listing/item number if applicable, your information, and/or information of the private seller such as a valid driver's license. For multiple transfers, the charge is $10 for each additional firearm. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PURCHASE OF INSURANCE FOR ANY FIREARM YOU PURCHASE TO COVER ACTUAL REPLACEMENT VALUE!



FFL TRANSFER: We reserve the right to DENY any firearm(s) transfer if we get a "funny feeling." Additionally, if we receive a DELAY notification from NICS and this notification has NOT changed to PROCEED after 3 business days, we reserve the right to NOT transfer the firearm to you at the conclusion of this 3-day grace period. If we receive a DENY response from NICS, we will attempt to return the firearm to the sending FFL Dealer. Remember, you are subject to the seller's return policy if they have one in place. Should the sending FFL Dealer or private party refuse to accept the firearm as a return, we will only pay you Fair Market Value (FMV) less 20% and transfer fee. FFL Dealer transfer fees are NOT refundable. This policy is NOT negotiable.

If we are transferring a firearm to a buyer on your behalf, we will contact the FFL Dealer of your buyer's preference to provide detailed information of the firearm, as well as verify and validate their FFL Dealer information. If not indicated otherwise, the buyer will need to contact us and provide their local FFL Dealer information. Unless otherwise stated, our cost to send firearms to FFL Dealers on your behalf is $25 not including shipping cost. FIREARMS WILL ONLY BE SHIPPED TO A LICENSED DEALER (FFL HOLDER). If a private seller is sending a firearm to us that is NOT an FFL, we must receive a copy of the seller's driver's license. If we do not receive a copy of the seller's driver's license, the transfer will not be accepted. THIS IS OUR POLICY AND THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS!



SHIPPING: If we are transferring a firearm on your behalf, typically the buyer will be responsible for shipping charges. Currently, we only ship via FedEx or UPS. We are NOT shipping firearms utilizing the services of USPS at the present time and for very good reason. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU SUGGEST TO YOUR BUYER THE PURCHASE OF INSURANCE TO COVER ACTUAL REPLACEMENT VALUE! If you're having a firearm shipped to us, ALL FFL Dealer business will be conducted at our Grand Blanc, MI address. We are not a courier service and will NOT meet you at Starbucks to conduct a transfer. Obviously, we have absolutely no control over shipping (delivery times, unforeseen events or delays, exceptions, etc.) and/or damage that may result during transit. If you do not agree with our shipping process and selection, PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM US. Rates are what they are but we're able to obtain pretty competitive rates with our FedEx and UPS corporate account, which gives us a good feeling that your package will arrive safe and sound and in a reasonable amount of time.

STATES WITH LIMITATIONS: Please verify with a local FFL Dealer that the firearm you are looking at is legal to own in your area. FIREARMS MAY ONLY BE SHIPPED TO A LICENSED DEALER (FFL HOLDER). We do not substitute/change magazines (unless otherwise stated), make any alteration to firearms (unless otherwise stated), or ship to areas where the item is prohibited. Do not purchase high capacity magazines if they are not legal to own in your area. Any returns of high capacity magazines are subject to a 20% return fee and buyer will be responsible for return shipping cost. Insurance is applicable if the magazine is part of a firearm. Insurance would apply to any firearm. Unless you have a lawful and valid reason to buy ammunition and/or firearms and be able to prove this PRIOR to your purchase, we will not ship to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, or the District of Columbia. We will, however, accept FFL Dealer Transfers from these states. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR KNOWING THE LAWS OF YOUR STATE! THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!



PAYMENTS: We accept CASH (PREFERRED), USPS money orders, cashier’s checks, personal checks (in person only), and all major credit cards. Credit cards presented to us for payment(s) of any product or service including transfers, will incur an additional 3% to the total sale due to merchant account processing fees charged to us. All other payment methods will NOT incur a merchant processing fee. Name, address, and zip code MUST match credit card and shipping information, as well as CSC code. Personal checks will have a mandatory 7 business day hold applied, in order to ensure funds have cleared. This hold does not apply to in-person transfers.

DISCOUNTS: We offer Law Enforcement and Military Discounts to Michigan residents ONLY, except for items sold on auctions sites such as Gunbroker.com. MCOLES or Military ID is required.

RETURNS: At the end of the day, it is the consumer's responsibility to know the firearm/high capacity magazine/ammunition laws in their respective state. Click here for further information regarding firearms/ammunition shipping regulations, which is to be used as a reference guide ONLY. THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS ON AMMUNITION OR FIREARMS THAT ARE USED, INCOMPLETE, OR SOLD FOR PARTS. We offer a 3 day no questions asked return policy on new firearms. We do not make people keep guns they don't want. If the item is returned damaged or used in any way, you will own the item with no exceptions. FFL Dealer transfer fees are NOT refundable. If you are not happy with any other purchase, you must contact us within 3 days of delivery. Buyer will be responsible for ANY and ALL shipping costs for any return. If return involves a new firearm, buyer will be responsible for shipping cost and insurance. Merchant processing fee of 3% is NOT refundable. ALL returns will incur a 3% merchant processing fee. Unfortunately, this 3% is charged to our merchant account every time we process a sale or return. This is one way VISA, MC, AMEX, and Discover make their money.

WARRANTY IS NOT EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED: Unless otherwise stated in writing, all items are sold AS IS. We will always do our best to accurately and honestly describe the condition of any firearm down to the smallest detail. New firearms and/or accessories will have the manufacturer's warranty!

AVAILABILITY: We keep very reasonable hours, which is 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM (EST) 7 days a week. You may call us ONLY during those hours. Feel free to email us anytime! DO NOT CONTACT US BY PHONE OUTSIDE OF OUR SPECIFIED HOURS. IT'S REALLY RUDE AND NOTHING IS THAT URGENT TO BE DISTURBED AFTER MIDNIGHT! Like you, we also have lives and can't even believe we actually have to mention this.

I was struggling to find an FFL in Michigan to help with the transfer of my Grandfather's old service revolver from MI to AZ. Fortunately I stumbled across Dorchester Gun shop and they were able to help. They went out of their way to make things easy for my elderly Grandfather and truly went above and beyond. I really like that they kept me in the loop throughout the whole process and I would not hesitate to use them again.
